It was so good to read the beginning of Ella and Micha. Even tho some of this was included in the first book, the rest of it fills in the blanks. My heart broke again for both Ella and Micha! They were true friends from the beginning. Their feelings for one another were obvious to everyone but them, at least until they admitted it to themselves. Ella's horrible life growing up made Micha her rock. Without Micah, who knows what Ella would have turned to. To have a father who truly could not handle pressure of her mother's mental state and took it out on her, made get life miserable. He blamed her for everything that happened. Poor Ella lived with this pressure. Micah was always there for her. He secretly loved her and she secretly loved him but only to think that she is not good enough for him. My heart broke again when she left. The feelings in this book are truly indescribable. Micah and Ella's story is one that I will never tire reading. Hats off to you Jessica for another well written book.

I felt in love with Jessica Sorensen the day I meet Callie and Kayden, with that introduced me to Ella and Micha. Who's lives are more messed up than a than a box full of animal crackers... But you love them so.... So getting the full story of why Ella left? Why didn't she take Micha? There are some many why's you want so bad, here is that book! I'm so proud Jessica! I'm glad to call you a friend!! Bravo Jessica!!!! Five 🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨 paints in favor of Ella!!! The book is eye opening!!! Tissue warning!!!
I have read everything by Jessica Sorensen I can get my hands on, and I'll keep reading as long as she keeps writing. Her characters are so broken and so perfect to help each other mend. Young love at its best.
I was previously blown away by The Callie & Kayden books, then again with The Violet & Luke stories. As predicted, The Ella & Micha books have taken me in 100% and I've been swooning ever since. Their history of being childhood best friends gives the reader the understanding hat they have always been much closer than just ordinary friends. And through all their ups & downs they have each other. I love Micha & his self-appointed Protector of his "pretty girl" equally as much as I love Ella and her heartbreaking life story. Take my word, READ THIS SERIES!

This story is sad and it wrenches the heart to read about Ella and what she goes through just to survive the everyday. Her drunken father, her clinically depressed mother and the weight of trying to hold her extremely dysfunctional family together. Her only reprieve, her sunshine , her happiness is Micha. But, she feels she cannot be with him because she is so damages inside. That is too much for a teen especially when teen years should be aboutenjoying being a teen . Full bodied characters. Will read the next one.
Ella and Micha have moved on to their infinite future together. Ella and Micha love each so much, that no matter what each decides, they are there to support each other. Being together since they were little kids, they struggled with their life making a pact to leave the town together and never look back. It didn't exactly happen that way but in the end they found each other to never separate again. Being married for a few years Micah misses spending time with his wife as much as Ella misses him! Their future had a few twists but they stuck it out and stood by one another. They're were truly meant to be together, Infinitely and Always. Looking forward to reading about their family.
Not that I really needed this, but I'm not complaining about 200 more pages of my all time favorite Sorenson couple!

Ella and Micha had a rough start and many bumps along the road leading them back to one another. It was fabulous to see that 5 years later they are still happily married and still in complete love with one another! I really missed Micha ' s "pretty girl." Life is changing for both...dreams have been achieved...stability and contentment abound. Time to shake it up? No just a little unexpected curve ball for Ella makes a little story!

I've always wondered about the early days of Ella and Micha and this novella gave me the insight I had always been looking for.

I've loved reading all about the crazy love story of these two somewhat lost souls and getting a glimpse into their past made me smile. Seeing how Ella had to deal with a mother who was drifting further and further into her own mind and a father who drank away his own pain was heartbreaking. It was only ever Micha who could make her world happy even just for a little while. He was her protector from early on and never wanted her to leave his side.

Knowing that she would someday leave him not only to save herself but save him too had me sad all over again. Thankfully I know how it all ends but reading this prelude was a great way to get inside a young Ellas head and see how it all began for her.
